ABOUT PAMELA
After working for many years as a Talent Agent and then with an IT company, Pamela focused on a career change. At 37, she returned to school to complete a Social Work degree from York University. With academia completed, she was given a camera as a gift and immediately found an unquenchable passion in photography and creating photographic art.
When not writing in third person, she tries to keep learning, explores the great outdoors, and shares her artistic creations with others. Her favourite words are road trip and wheels up. What fills Pamela’s soul is photographing nature, birds, wildlife, as well as water and landscapes.
Pamela has won several photography awards including 2 with the Toronto Star and a Wildlife Photography of the Year award with the Canadian Geographic magazine. Her work has been displayed at the Canadian Museum of Nature in Ottawa. She shoots with Olympus OMD EM1 and EM5 bodies and has had her work featured by Olympus.
Born in Etobicoke, Ontario, Pamela currently resides in Penetanguishene and is owned by her rescue dog, Ollie. When not working with photos, she is a Social Worker who looks for ways to integrate therapeutic uses for photography.
